so, this thing may not go on perfectly straight. it didn't for me, the center was probably 20 degrees to the right. nobody in their right mind would be okay with that. it wasn't impossibly snug, so i continued turning just a bit until it was perfectly centered. well then the ball came loose from it's threading. now the metal thread was stuck out a bit from the ceramic ball, no problem, I just tapped it back in on the ground, but it was still loose. i spun it all the way back around, planning to rubber cement it in place in the right spot. problem is, the gear shift rod pushes the ball from the threading, so now it was a good 1/8 inch stuck out. got a hammer and a soft surface and tapped it back in. except i didn't because the bottom of the ceramic chunked out.
i can design this better right off the top of my head, create a threaded sheath that screws on to the gear shift, shaped like a gear but with very fine, short teeth. include some rubber cement or other super strong adhesive so that the customer can screw on the metal part, then match up the shift knob themselves. this way you don't have to try to engineer your way around the fact that every car is different. takes less than a minute longer to do it this way.

The overall size feels correct and has a nice cue ball finish and feel to it. Has good weight to it aswell.
I didnt use the included adapters, had to use a custom made one, but it fit perfect when I put it into the ball.
I wish the design had more detail or was more refined. Maybe thinner black line, another ring in center of white. Maybe add a protrusion to mimic a pokeball. Just ideas... overall, solid product for what you are buying it for. If it was a tad bit smaller and had the details adjusted, it would've been a 5/5.
I bought this for my '15 Mustang, having never heard of dragon ball whatnots. I thought it might look real nice inside the otherwise kinda drab Mustang interior. Boy, was I right! Young people here and there have been commenting about how cool my knob looks and all. I agree. It really is quite attractive and feels substantial in the hand. For the money you just can't pass up buying one of these things. They come with several adapters. I didn't use any of the adapters for my Mustang. It really is perplexing how they (whomever they are--and Amazon) can afford to sell them so inexpensively! These are an awesome deal!
Recently purchased this pokeball shift knob looks great! Felt good in palm for the 2 mins it lasted while screwed on . The little threading inside the pokeball has gotten loose which cause the actual shift knob to become loose I tried to reinsert the little adapter back in the pokeball which worked again for 2 mins then got loose again would be a great product if something was done about the adapter inside hopefully I get a replacement with a better adapter inside
I wasn't sure this would work on my Elantra because the stock shifter is flat bottomed to allow for the reverse release to be pulled up. It does work, but barely. It it is tightened all the way down, the reverse release cannot be pulled up enough, but I put a small spacer in the thread adapter and it is perfect now. I still need to fabricate something to cover the reverse release spring, but that should be easy to make from a bleach rubber bushing of some sort. I love the look & feel of this shift knob, I am satisfied overall.

My boyfriend fell in love with it just around 3 days later the bolt part unglued from the actual crystal ball now every time he drives it comes of but he doesn't want to take it off because I bought it for him which is really unsafe
The thickness of the DB feels nice and sturdy. Wouldn’t test dropping it but rather confident in the material. The install takes less than 10 minutes, with taking off old shift knob to installing it. Considering the tool you need doesn’t disappear. The one thing I don’t like is, have to be careful not to over tighten. I have it slightly hand tight but the vibration of the car makes it lose. Not sure if this is cause the nut in the ball isn’t adhere good enough. Other than that, happy with buy.
Its a really cool looking knob it feels really nice in the palm of your hand while you shift gears. The only thing I didn't like about it at first was that it gets really loose every time you use it, so I had to get it exchanged because every time I tried to tighten it, the knob would still come off. After getting the other one, I decided to go to a hardware store to get some temporary thread locker so it can keep it in place. Since then I haven't had any issues of it screwing off while driving like the first one did. So if you buy this product just make sure to buy a temporary thread locker before applying this on to your shifter.
