Reading the reviews I don't know what all the negativity was about or if they revamped the design...?
The one I received came with a brass insert installed and all the adaptor inserts screw into that... plus it came with the jam nuts no complaints there.
Looks really good although feels a bit cheap in the hand.
Finish is not the greatest a bit rough but no sharp edges to catch ones hand on.
I have average hands I guess or I have enough experience using pistol grip shifters where it feels good, not to large not to small... just cheap and lite.
I'd beat the people breaking these are trying to install these with gorilla strength and slam shifting... these are plastic not meant for abuse just average everyday driving.
I'll be replacing this one over time with a aluminum model one day but for right now and the price point this shifter is at this will do until I find just the right one... its not weighted so don't be thinking its going to ease or help your shifting.
I like the way this looks, but it will not fit a manual transmission Jeep gear shift rod. Actually none of the screw on knobs will fit a Jeep. I returned it and was charged a penalty fee for return shipping.
Like the feel, like the look, easy to install.
Got this and sent it right back. It’s made for tiny little hands.poor quality.
So this is a ok shifter but the one I received had striped threads and I had some knicks in paint but I really expected it to be some what decent but I had the re tap the threads to get it to work but even then it still slops a around on my gear shifter and no my gear threads ant bad but I just would really like to give five stars but with all the truble I had with it just no 😑

Garbage. Don’t buy it. It’s already broken and the inside stripped out after driving for only 15 miles. I had to give this one start because you can’t give something zero stars.
Threaded bushings. Shift knob on Can - Am Maverick Trail. Looks good, seems solid.
Broke after 1st use returned for a refund going to buy a quality hirst this time.
