Ugh. I loved it and was so excited when I got it in the mail. It looks great, it’s very smooth and a really cool salmon color. The SECOND I installed it it broke away from the adaptor and was impossible to drive with. It shifts around in your hand while you drive. I’m going to try to glue it, but I’m super disappointed. I wouldn’t buy it unless you are cool with having to glue and possibly re-glue this thing over and over again. Even more gorgeous in person, bigger than I thought it would be but easier for me to grip for my stick shift. I’m in love with it The shift knob thread was to short for my 2013 subaru sti should have looker at the description before buying but I was still able to drill the thread deeper on the shift knob to have it fit perfect and still turned out great not loose at all and lights up amazingly Feels good in your hand, I had to super glue the fitting in after the first day. I purchased the glow in the dark. I was kinda dissapointed after letting sit in sun all day to find out the glow doesn't hold it's charge through the night. It’s super cute, I like it a lot. Juuuuusttttt the screw in is too shallow so you can still see the threads on the bottom.

I like the color goes perfect with my interior on my 2017 corolla. the down side is that it keeps spinning off it doesn't stay tight . the inside threads started coming off after tightening it too tight. I bought this because I needed a non metal knob so my hand wouldn’t go numb from the cold in the morning ...fits perfect does the job and it glows! Dope for how cheap it is I love this! It glows really well after being in the sun all day, and it’s super fun to have in the car. My only complaint is that the threading could be a bit deeper. In my car, the top of the shift boot sits quite a bit lower than the shifter, but it’s no big deal.

Great product and definitely worth the purchase! Took me a while to figure it out. Wish it came with instructions! Use 8 screws at the bottom of the base of ur shifter pole. Tighten evenly on each side so base is secure and even. The bolt didnt fit inside the hole on shifter pole so i used a pointy screw to stab against where the hole in shifter lined up. Insert spring. This was the tricky part for me, the plastic piece that pushes down the button was too long on mine . i had to use the short screw attachment inside the handle all the way and then i had to do maybe a quarter turn back. Its tricky i actually took that plastic piece and rubbed it on the pavement until it was sanded down enough. If it wasnt placed just right/ in line it either wont go down far enough to shift or its not up high enough to remove key from ignition.. I would recommend not screwing in both sides of the screw on top. Just get it to fall close enough in line that you can smoothly put in one screw and test it. Than once you figure it out put the screw in the other side and tighten it all down. Should be good to go. This shifter fixed the issue i had with my old shifter. Should work for any car with push button. Hope you dont struggle as much as i did. Great buy. Sorry i shoulda made a video
(Edit:) After a while with the shifter the more i used it the less the screw on the inside wanted to stay perfect where i needed it so i just tightened the 2 screws i had in the handle so they locked the little plastic piece into the handle which is better than how i had it originally. Only down side haha is when im moving too quick like if i slam my car into park the spring will launch the handle out because i just have it set in loose. But it slides right back into place easily and everything is very sturdy/well made. Not positive how long ive had it but i still love it! Great purchase, looks good, and functions great. I hope this helps someone.
WORTH BUYING 100% Stop scrolling for answers if it will fit. It is universal. The screws and adapters are there for a reason. How it works is based off how you set it up. The spring and screws play a major role into how u want the “lock/unlock” to work. It takes knowledge and patience to do this. 5 stars easy install and great look. The only eh part of it is that normally it’s supposed to be a shoelace material wrapped around the handle of the katana but instead it’s a plastic. Looks good though. And I’m more than sure u can install your own lace around the handle and take off the plastic this one comes with. Stop looking for handicaps or easy ways and answers to do things. Just do it. This went on my 01 eclipse. Took me a good minute to figure out where all the screws go. Would've been nice if it came with instructions (video was not to helpful) but after staring at it for awhile, few curse words, and feeling like an idiot I finally figured it out. Easy to install once you know what your doing lol. Looks AWESOME 😎 definitely worth it This was the best Xmas gift to myself and for my car! Product: love it!! Install: 4 of 5 super easy to install but does take a little patience and readjustment. I had to remove the plastic ring around the tip of the boot to make it so I can shift into all gears fluidly (including sport+/-) but was able to pull the boot around the base of adapter. So first off, this is a great product it both looks and feels great in my car, (2021 Toyota Corolla SE Nightshade). I have used other shifter knobs before, and I can honestly say that this one is built better, it has 8 total screws securing the base, as opposed to my others which had 3-4. But before you buy this, make sure that the size will fit, my shifter is slightly angled forward, and the top of the handle is very close to the area with the stereo. Now onto how to install it, it is not super difficult, but there are no instructions that come with it, so this is for anyone who needs a little help. 1.) once you have removed your stock shifter knob, grab the largest of the black screws from the bag, and just twist them into the holes on the lower half of the black part with the 8 holes on it. 2.)place that over your shift rod, and tighten them equally and I cannot stress this enough tightly. 3.)place the spring inside of the black piece around your shift rod. 4.)The big silver screws go into the bottom of the handle, you need to experiment and find out which one is going to work best for your car. 4a.) you need to adjust the silver screw so that handle is able to be pressed down so that the four screw holes on the side line up with the slit on the side, and make sure that silver screw is just resting on top of your shift lock button thingy 5.) once you have that lined up, its a little tricky, but you have to screw in the screws through the slit on the side, and into the holes on the side of the handle, make sure you use the screws with the pointed ends for this. 6.) just to be safe go back over and make sure everything is as tight as it can be, and doesn't jiggle or turn when you grip it

Was a bit tedious to install trying to figure out how to mount it. It fits the 2010 Acura TSX very nicely and doesn't hit the face of the radio with the 26cm option. Overall satisfied with this piece. I own a Subaru Legacy 2017 which is automatic. I wish there was instructions, and something more in detailed of installation. I’ve tried to watch some YouTube videos but non of them were as detailed as I’d like, so I pretty much had to figure it out on my own. It’s not too difficult to figure out, but it’s just an inconvenience, hence the 4 star review.
As for looks, I think it looks nice, and it’s actually decently heavy.
Something I found out recently, you don’t want the kantana part to be resting directly on the button to switch gears, but resting a little above or else when you try to pull your key from the ignition, it’ll be stuck.
Also the tool that was given to screw in the screws was the wrong size, it was far too small.
All in all, the installation process was a bite in the a** to do, but in the end it looks really nice!

Received a note from my brother saying that my shifter knob exploded when he went to take my car to the airport. I didn't believe him. Honda makes some really cheap stuff.... Anyway, after a quick video on the silly thing, I hopped on Amazon and ordered it. Installation was easy with the only slight problem that there was a part of the old button stuck inside (being black I couldn't see it). So for only having used it for 2 days, I give it 5 stars. If it should fail, I'll be sure to update! Great!!! I bought a used 2005 Accord Coupe. 4 days home from the dealer and the push button on the shifter fell off. I’m pretty sure it was broken when I bought it because there was a little glue residue.
I bought this item and a little tube of silicone lube. There are a ton of YouTube videos on how to do this simple repair. The only tricky part is getting the left side plate of the shifter off. It’s held in place by two little tabs. You just need to pry them up a little slide the plate off. Put a little line on the new button, set it in place, snap the plate back on and remount the shifter head. The whole process takes less than half an hour and you definitely can do it yourself. The only tools you wil need is a philips and a flat screwdriver. I finally changed it after years of shifting with my thumb. I forgot how much easier it was. The only reason I did put a new one on was that sometimes people have to use your car and they don't know what to do. Taking apart that section is a pain though, it did not come back together very well but it's holding up.

This item is identical in design to the factory part and fits perfectly. When you replace the shifter button, you will need to remove this part. In the process, it is likely that the tabs on the original bezel will break. To avoid this, be sure to remove the long plastic shifter stalk before removing the Basel. There are videos on the Internet that show you how to do the whole job. My shifter button broke just like all of your's who are reading this review. I was able to replace the button at a local store who ordered the part in 1 day. But like all of you, my plastic part on left side broke while removing it to replace the button.
I got this item but it would not fit correctly at the top. I removed and replaced it numerous times but it still didn't fit right at the top. It turns out there were 2 very small pieces that broke from the original that were wedged in the spot were the part snaps in. These were not easily seen, and was the reason this replacement part was not fitting correctly at the top. Once I removed the small pieces w a small flat headed screwdriver, this item fit perfectly. Get this item and don't think twice about it. Just be sure ALL broken pieces from the original are removed. We were told by the Honda dealership that the whole gear shift had to be replaced ($2000) because the button broke. Not so!! We bought the button & this plate, followes a YouTube video & it took 10 minutes to install. The plate is great! Its been on my Honda accord for about a few months now. Still doing great and i love that its sold separately so you don’t have to buy the whole gear shift with button and everything when this was just the damaged piece. It fit perfectly, at no problems at all. That little piece is been missing for a while, and it gets really irritating without it. It was less expensive than getting it from the dealership, too.

Has a nice weight to it, but it didn't survive one day in the hot sun. The hot glue melted and item fell apart while driving. It was a bit dangerous to drive with just the metal bar sticking up. Nice looking Easy install Since i was reading the bad reviews, some people says that the black plastic around comes off when is in constant use,i ask my wife to put couple coats of resin (clear apoxy)she like to do some crafting stuff, so I ask her to put some in this sword and it made look nice and shiny so let's see how it holds in 6 months, other than that is a good product ill recommend it. 👍😇 What a great value easy install and the simplest interior upgrade to my custom project Easy install in 07 Acura TL Makes my husband's car fit his style.
