Carefully applied however inner piece still cracked. Now that it’s basically attached I can’t return it.
It cracked and doesn’t fit correctly.

Easy Installtion with 3M tape attached on the back
Installation Method:
1. Clean the area and eliminate any impurities before mounting this item.
2. Align this item with target-position accordingly and peel off the 3M tape backing.
3. Press the item evenly after proper alignment.
4. Avoid any situation that might wet this item within 24 hours after installation.
Tips:
Please ask for help from professionals if you are not sure how to do this.
Please heat the 3M tape backing with a heat gun for better stickup effect when ambient temperature is lower than 20℃.
If the shifter lock button on your CR-V breaks, no need to see a dealer - instead use this replace button. Be sure to remove all pieces of the old button, some might be stuck in the grease package. Easiest option in my view is to remove the shifter handle and clean it out (find instructions on youtube).
