Bought this as a replacement for my Ranger truck. Although it looks very nice, as I began installing it, I discovered that the mounting sleeve at the bottom appears to be made of soft aluminum. When I tried to mount the steel allen screws in to the pre-drilled holes, it did not take much to strip the threads on the sleeve. I did not over apply force on the screws. I would not recommend this to anyone...

How to replace the shift knob?

Step 1-Unscrew the old shift knob from the car.

Turn the knob counterclockwise or unscrew the screw at the bottom of the knob to remove the knob from the shift lever

Step 2-install the new shift knob

Select the correct size of the adapter, install the adapter into the universal shift knob hole, fix with screws and then screw the shift knob on the joystick

Fits my 2015 Ford Fusion gear shifter perfectly, its seems like genuine leather and it looks really good.
A great buy, premium product feel, fits like a glove, sewing was easy (maybe a velcro closure on future design would be better), it took a while to arrive. overall satisfied with the product. 👍
I would have given no stars if I could, highly disappointed!!! Product at first glance looked like picture, unfortunately when sewing it on the holes were too close to edges and stitches went right through the material. I wouldn't recommend buying this at all! I've put on many shifter knob covers before from other companies and NEVER had this problem before. Waste of money!!
